About me

My name is Jimena Esperanza O'dille. I am a wife and a mother. I grew up in a time before social media, where photo albums lined the shelves of our home. Polaroid's and loose photograph's were found in every corner. My father always had a camera in his hands; in fact, our dozens of photo albums told the stories of his adventurous life, that only his eyes could tell. So, it was only natural that I began taking photos as soon as I could hold a camera. Later in life, I married my bestfriend and began my own family. While researching my husbands lineage, I found out that his own family had loved photography so dearly, that it became a family business as early as 1910. Now here I am, finding myself continuing the Art of generations past-with love, a new found light, and the same flame of passion that was lit by our ancestors, so long ago.

Our History;

A FAMILY BUSINESS

In 1888, when the first Kodak point and shoot camera was invented, a seven year old French boy named August O'dille became fascinated by the Art of Photography. He became the families first Photography Instructor and owned his own Studio in Illinois. One of his son's, Louis O'dille, inherited his fathers passion of the Art and began his own career. By 1930 he had accomplished owning a Gallery, being an Aerial Photographer for the U.S. Navy and becoming a well-known Photographer for the Pittsburgh Press.
